    Description

This is an original uncrashed and unmolested Shriner Indianapolis 500 Car made by Crue-Cut Manufacturing in 1964, Crue-Cut made many of the Shriner cars from that era. This has the 6hp Tecumseh original motor, compression is 100psi, it dribbles a little oil. I have added less than 1/4 quart in 3 years of ownership. Carb was replaced, I have the original. It is from the Battle Creek Michigan Saladin Temple. I have replace the tires as needed, the rubber is excellent all around on both. . The shroud around the engine is a clone made from molds of the originals which had cracks. The original and inferior shroud that came with it is included. It goes 25-30 mph and is a blast to drive. This is NOT KID sized. I'm short (5'6") and can barely reach the pedals. THIS IS FOR GROWN UPS! For safety's sake I added a plunger kill switch that is easy to punch if trouble arises.  The #23 car likes shot of ether to start, I've been as honest and as descriptive as possible about the car, there is no substitute for a personal inspection if you are considering purchasing.
Now the fun part. This is a BLAST to drive especially when you have friends around that are healthy and limber enough to get up and down. Sadly, most of my friends have age related hip/knee/back issues and it is not getting used as much as I'd anticipated. Time for this toy to find a loving home.  I am not a Shriner, so I contacted the Saladin Temple to see if they would have any issues if I were to bring it to a local parade to entertain the kids. They had no issues with that idea. Covid parade cancellations prevented me using them for this purpose. Any local parade would welcome it.
Buyer will need to arrange their own shipping of choice. I am selling TWO of these cars--see the ad for the mate to this car. Unfortunately because I am not a big time seller, the price for both exceeded the Ebay limits so I had to separate the sales as two separate auctions place 30 days apart. I will sell the second one next month.  I would like to sell them both to the same buyer.
