The last one to come up for public auction at an auction house sale sold for ,900 final gavel.
There is another one located at the Grand Manan Museum
in their Masonic Art Collection.
If you look closely at some of the scenes that are pictured here, there is some weird things to see.
A dead skeleton with a band of winged men / fairies or demons(?!!) standing over a black caldron with fire underneath and evil weird severed head hanging over the caldron as the naked winged men seem to dance around it with their hands in the air. And slightly out of distance you see a clothed male figure sitting and he has what looks like crown on his head and is watching the winged men/demons.
And these are just a few of the scenes going on in this antique Masonic print. Why in the world would these be shown in this art and for what purpose? What is going on?
At the very top of the mountain appears a massive building resembling the U.S. Capitol and there are MANY other scenes going on in this print.
This is already a rare / scarce antique Masonic print and rarely comes up for auction.
Sold as is.
I am listing this discounted by more than half of value from the last known public sale of this same print due to the water damaged far right corner.
I will accept any reasonable offer if you wish to make one.
