Rare Early 20th century ceramic Masonic Pitcher-Thos. Maddock & Sons, Trenton NJ

Over 100 years old, this large, unique Masonic pitcher was my Grandfather's, who became a Mason in the early part of the 20th century. Crafted by Thos. Maddock & Sons, Trenton, NJ, it features a man on a goat under the sun, moon, and stars, with the phrase, "Taking his first degree." Other art on the front are a church and a cabin. The back has a altar with the Masonic symbol under a sun, flanked by 3 tall candelabras and a cord with tassels below. The pitcher shows a lot of wear, with the silvering on the handle, top rim, and bottom rim worn off from much handling, some pits in the ceramic near the handle and a crack above the top of the handle. Maddock & Sons hallmark on the bottom. (Please refer to pictures.) No lodge information. The pitcher is 12 1/4" tall, with a top opening of 4" diameter, and a 6 1/4" base diameter.
The items I sell are from the estates of family members or my own, therefore, they are considered to be pre-owned and “used.”
