    Description

1920's- 100 year old Tiffin glass Adam etched Amber vase.
The hand-crimped top edge finishes the piece off nicely. It would look marvelous in any setting from Depression era to MCM to today.
One of Tiffin's popular basket etches, Adam was produced from 1913 to 1934, and this particular piece, the #33 vase, is the only documented item with the Adam etch that was produced in any other color than crystal. This lovely vase is a warm, amber color and features a lovely ruffled rim. It is about 10" in height and 3 3/4" in diameter across the rim. The etching extends from just below the rim to the base. Other than a small amount of shelf wear on the bottom, and a few minor scratches and blemishes in the etched area, and a tiny pinhead size chip on the rim as shown, the vase is free of any other chips, nicks or cracks.
