Pettibone Knights Templar Masonic Sword w/Scabbard & Bag - Id'd McCulloch Jr.

Description

Knights Templar Masonic Sword with Scabbard, Dust Cover and Leather Carrying Bag. The ricasso is marked "The Pettibone Bros MFG Co" over "Cincinnati.O" and on the reverse is "E&F Horster" over "Solingen". The guard, grip, and pommel cap are tight. The etched blade has the name "William W. McCulloch, JR." on it, along with other masonic symbols and scroll designs all with gold in the background. The blade is clean, straight and unsharpened but the tip is very sharp. The scabbard is solid with no dents, a bright finish (a few spots of loss) with many masonic symbols and "KT" is on the hanger mount. Leather washer is intact. Length of the blade measures 28" (13/16" wide x 3/16" thick), the sword alone is 35 3/8", and overall length is 37 3/8".
The carrying bag is in good shape, it is complete with tight stitching and has the name plate on the flap that matches the name on the sword, it measures 38 1/2" overall. The dust cover bag is in good shape too.
