RARE -  Masonic Lodge  F.O.M. - A. & F.  May 29, 1910 dates this commemorative hand carved wooden WHISTLE measuring 5 1/2" in length when closed. The whistle was carved so it appears to be a log with knots and when you slide the trunk outward it changes the whistle pitch. This example of superb workmanship in wood carving should make a sensational addition to someone's collection of antique whistles. Not being a Mason myself, I have no idea what type of ceremony this could had been used for but am sure a dedicated Masonic Lodge member will undoubtedly know. You gotta just love the fact that the maker inscribed the date making this antique whistle well over 100 years old.
