    Description

    Original Antique Victorian Knights Templar Sword 1892/1900 Gold Etched Engraved with Middle Eastern Battle Scene Knights Fighting in quest for King Salmons Temple with Name (W? DAVIS). It is 35” Long with a 28” Mirror Bright German Import Knights-Head Maker Stamped Blade I believe to be (Clauberg) there are several corrosion spots the worst being 7/8” before the tip. The Tang has The Company Name (G.F. Foster & Son’s/Chicago, ILL) The 7” Bone Handle, Chain Guard and Pommel are Tight. The overall Condition of this 125+ Year Old is Antique Excellent Sword and not to mention the Original Chain Guard is still Attached. The Gold Plated Scabbard is in V/Good++ Condition with No Dents or Dings but has some light rust spots and staining. This is for the Advanced Masonic Collector and rarely turns up in such Fine Condition for it’s Age, I used BEZDEK's Book (American Swords + American Makers) Page #262 Shows Foster & Son's Co From 1892 to 1900. Most of these are common in the WW1 to WW2 Vintage
